When I bought this gear, this was the reason for starting these segments, I found on-line a guy selling a Danelectro Pastrami, Hash Browns and a Digitech RP100a. He wanted $10.00 for each pedal, I offered him $20 for all. He said, “Throw in a cup of coffee and you have a deal”. I did. This is part one of three with me trying out each piece of gear.
I released a quick how-to video last Tuesday and it went over very well. I’m going to try to do more of these, if you have any questions about recording, the PortaStudios and PocketStudios. I’ll try to give you what you need.

After having the current song that I’m working on get shelved, I’m starting a new song on the DP-008 Digital PocketStudio. First step, importing the scratch track from the PortaStudio to the PocketStudio.

I bought this pedal about 2 years ago for $20.00 (CAD), I know there is people who love it and people who hate it. I personally like it.
Got an amp that uses a double button footswitch? Does it have a 1/4″ TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) connection? Here’s an easy way to create one if you are either having trouble finding one that is for your amp or you are in a pinch and need one soon. I’ve done this on an original Peavey 5150 and I’m now showing you on a Laney amp.

After clearing out most of my equipment from the studio to do the show for the rescue a couple weeks back, I noticed that I have a lot of gear that I have purchased through the used market, such as, eBay, Kijiji and Facebook. I’m going to start talking about this equipment, how I used it, what I paid and any bumps that came along with trying to get it. Hope you’ll watch every Thursday!
I’ve seen this come up many times on forums and groups. It is quite easy to bounce tracks, this is how I usually do it.

I know it’s not a huge number, but I’ve finally hit 50 subscribers after about 10 months. Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, it has been a fun time and I’ve learned a lot. I did a video on recording by yourself, since I do a lot of that.
I’ve noticed that some songs, if it shows pick used, I do get a better score, I’m putting this to the test in this video.
