The Projects

I’ve been part of a couple of projects since I started playing back in 1991.  I’m going to use this page to list them and include any information about them.

Hollow Spirit (1991 – 1995)

I helped form this band with my friend, Dean Witter.  We went our separate ways while trying to finish our first recordings.  After working together on the ‘Full Circle‘ CD.  We decided to finish what we had started all those years ago.  You should be seeing some of that coming out soon as well.

ArmsLength (1995 – 2001, 2014 – 2015)

Started working with Don Dorey after Hollow Spirit. We started recording with Dane Shaw in late 1996.  The band folded around 2000 with a lot of the recording left up in the air.  After Don’s death in 2011 and two tribute CD’s later.  I decided to finish the project which became the band name, For My Dear Friend.  After finishing and releasing the recording, Full Circle on May 6th, 2014 and I spend up until March of 2015 promoting the work, which I finished by getting CD’s professionally made.  I decided to close this chapter in my life and move forward.

PnchMnky (2000 – 2003)

This was a very short stint for me.  I joined as a bass player and was let go when I announced that I was going to take a break so I could spend time with my newly born daughter.

Impact (2005 – 2006)

My first ever cover band.  Disbanded after the drummer retired.

For My Dear Friend (2013 – 2015)

The working band name for the ArmsLength music because another band used the ArmsLength name and released music under it.  It was the name I took for the website, you can find my old blog for it here.

The MPF Project (2015 – present)

This is where I am now.  After finishing the Full Circle CD, I felt a great weight lifted off of me.  I also started getting song ideas again.  My skills are rusty, but I want to continue recording.

The time in between each band was pretty much where I did nothing in music.  I’d pick up the bass and guitar once in a while, but nothing big.
