Tascam PortaStudio Recording: Cold Black Sky Breakdown

This week’s video is what I did to enhance the floor recording of Cold Black Sky.  Here’s the breakdown by track:

1. Vocals, added a slight slapback and recorded it on Track 9/10
2. Not used, no backing vocals on this song, dropped the fader
3. Bass, since the bass is coming in directly, I have used the internal amp to boost the sound.
4. Guitar, added some reverb and recorded it onto Track 11/12
5. Snare, added some reverb and recorded it onto Track 13/14
6. Bass Drum, nothing, just eq’d it
7. Overhead, nothing, just eq’d it.
8. Overhead, nothing, just eq’d it.
